Safety

Jungle Parc have been building high wire adventure courses for just over 10 years and we currently have sites in France, Spain and the UK.

The main priority of Jungle Parc is to construct an exciting activity that is, most of all, safe.

Jungle Parc safety

All our courses are fully certified under the ERCA ‘European Ropes Course Association’ safety guidelines and annually checked by CERRES, the European company for safety checks on ‘self belay’ high wire adventure activities.

Jungle Parc Liverpool received its certificate on the 24th April 2008. (Copy of certificate available on request).

Jungle Parc Northampton received its certificate on 23rd April 2009 (Copy of certificate available on request).

Apart from ERCA, Jungle Parc fully check all courses on a daily basis before participants take part in our activity.

First Aid

Both of our sites (Liverpool and Northampton) have 4 first aiders who are all annually British Red Cross trained for your safety.

Trained Staff

All our staff are fully qualified climbers and like nothing more than to dangle in the trees! They have all received specialist rescue training for high wire activities,

We have 4 safety procedures for rescue ranging from Code 1 - Participants just wanting to get down from the trees, to Code 4 - Emergency rescue for a participants in a dangerous situation (heart attack etc).

Although we have luckily never had to use Code 4, we make sure all staff practice daily on all rescue techniques.

Insurance

All our sites are fully covered by Public & Employee Liability Insurance by JLT Jardine Lloyd Thomson under the ‘Adventure Activity Insurance Scheme’.

(High Wire adventure activities currently do not fall under the AALA (Adventure Activities Licensing Authority) the specialist insurance for this type of activity is currently with the Adventure Activity Insurance Scheme)

Limits of Liability are as follows:

Public Liability £5 million in any one occurrence.
Employers Liability £10 million in any one occurrence

Equipment

All our equipment is supplied by BEAL & PETZL the leading manufacturer of climbing & harness equipment.

They are all CE approved and checked on a daily basis by our staff.
